Your Role

As an HSE Supervisor, you will play a critical role in driving Health, Safety, and Environmental excellence across the site. Acting as both a subject matter expert and trusted advisor, you will ensure compliance with HSE standards, promote continuous improvement, and support leaders in building a strong and sustainable safety culture.

Your Experience

To succeed in this role, you will be an experienced HSE professional with a strong technical background and a passion for creating safe, compliant, and high-performing workplaces.

You will bring:

  • A degree in Engineering or another relevant technical discipline.
  • A recognized Health & Safety qualification, ideally NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent.
  • HSE Internal Auditor certification and experience managing audits and compliance programs.
  • Proven experience in Health, Safety, and Environmental management within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Strong knowledge of HSE legislation, risk management, incident investigation methodologies, and management systems standards.
  • Experience leading HSE teams and influencing stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • The ability to challenge constructively, influence leadership decisions, and effectively balance safety and operational priorities.
  • Strong planning and organizational capabilities, with a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Fluent English, with the ability to communicate effectively across cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.

Location details

This role is based in our offices near the Eastleigh town centre. The address is Prysmian Cables & Systems Limited, Chickenhall Lane, Eastleigh, SO50 6YU. There are good transport links to Eastleigh and the site is approximately 15 minutes walk from the railway station. We are able to offer free car parking next to our offices.
