Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a HIL Hardware Engineer or Principal HIL Hardware Engineer to join our team at our facility in Boulder, Colorado.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Support architecture, design, integration, and deployment of SATCOM ground systems supporting ground stations.

  • Support all HIL hardware modifications and test platform updates.

  • Ensure hardware on the HIL is not put into a configuration that could be damaging.

  • Maintain positive control of all HIL hardware to include government furnished equipment.

This position can be staffed at a level 2 or 3 based on the basic qualifications below.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Level 2: Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of relevant experience or a Master’s degree with 0 years of relevant experience.

  • Level 3: Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of relevant experience or a Master’s degree with 3 years of relevant experience in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.

  • U.S. Citizenship is required

Primary Level Salary Range: $83,400.00 - $125,200.00

Secondary Level Salary Range: $103,600.00 - $155,400.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
