We are seeking a passionate and resilient HLTA who is committed to making a genuine difference. The young people you will support may have experienced significant trauma, including exposure to violence, exploitation, or instability in their home lives. Many have complex additional needs and require a consistent, understanding adult who can help them feel safe, valued, and ready to engage with learning and life.

This setting operates a no-exclusion policy, reflecting their deep commitment to every child’s potential. As part of the team, you will play a vital role in supporting students both academically and emotionally, helping to build trust, develop coping strategies, and celebrate even the smallest steps of progress. Every day will be different, and while the challenges can be significant, the rewards are equally profound.

Training and ongoing professional development are provided, ensuring you are supported every step of the way. However, prior experience working with children or young people with additional needs, dysregulated behaviour, or in a care or support role is essential. Above all, we are looking for someone who is patient, empathetic, and driven by a genuine desire to change lives.
