Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor Horizontal Machining Centers (HMC) to ensure production targets are met with superior quality.
• Execute complex machining tasks according to technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions.
• Perform regular machine setups, including tool changes, offsets, and fixture adjustments.
• Conduct routine quality inspections of produced parts using precision measuring instruments.
• Maintain the HMC equipment, including daily cleaning, lubrication, and basic troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance.
• Collaborate with the production team to identify process improvements and ensure an efficient workflow.
• Adhere strictly to safety protocols and environmental standards within the production environment.
• Document production data and machine logs accurately to maintain accountability and traceabililty.

Qualifications

• Educational background: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 to 4 years of hands-on experience operating HMC machines in a professional manufacturing environment.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of HMC operations, including machine controls and programming fundamentals.
• Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings and technical specifications accurately.
• Demonstrated technical precision and a commitment to maintaining high-quality output.
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and capable of working effectively in a structured, formal professional environment.
