Hospitalist APP (.80FTE)

Overview

New London Hospital is seeking a permanent full time (0.8 FTE) advanced practice provider (APRN or PA) with prior hospital medicine or critical care medicine background to join our Hospital Medicine Team. This is primarily a daytime position, but with occasional night coverage.   Primary responsibilities include independently rounding on acute/swing/custodial patients, performing ED admissions, and responding to medical emergencies. The candidate will join a team of physicians and advanced practice providers who focus on delivering exceptional inpatient care.  New London Hospital does have a Special Care Unit (SCU) which serves as a step-down unit, but performing procedures or ventilation management is not required. Providers must maintain ACLS credentialing.

New London Hospital is a critical access hospital located in New London, New Hampshire and a member of the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Health System. New London Hospital features 25 inpatient medical-surgical beds which includes 4 SCU beds. Specialty services include general surgery and orthopedics. Qualifications

National Certification from an approved certifying body - Eligible for an APRN or PA-C license in the State of New Hampshire - Eligible for Federal DEA registration - Additional certifications must be maintained in accordance with applicable departmental requirements
