Housekeeping Assistant Bank – Nights/Unsocial Hours

£13.10 per hour

As a Housekeeping Assistant at our Glasgow Hospital, we’ll expect you to organise your work and plan your time to ensure that cleaning never gets in the way of a customer’s experience. You have a friendly nature and good communication skills, which will come in handy when you’re interacting with colleagues and customers.

As a Housekeeping Assistant, you will:

• Knowledge of IPC and associated best practices

• Healthcare experience is preferred but not essential 

• Demonstrate a working knowledge is COSHH

• Clean and prepare a range of areas at our hospital both clinical and non-clinical 

• Hold a current PVG status

• Care about our customers and our working environment 

• Take pride in your work

• Have a Flexible approach to shift working

• Be proficient in the use of power cleaning equipment 

• Work well under pressure as an individual or within a team environment
