What you'll do

  • Utilize your knowledge and experience to ensure timely and accurate processing of Kauai Coffee payroll
  • Understand and administer benefits such as Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance, 401k, life insurance, etc and leave management
  • Connect with employees through benefit education, enrollment and leave management
  • Gain a thorough understanding of the importance of confidentiality and maintaining the integrity of our HRIS system
  • Perform responsible personnel administrative work requiring knowledge and application of bargaining unit contract, pertinent rules, regulations and procedures in a timely manner
  • Active participation in maintaining a safe working environment and serve as a member of the Kauai Coffee Safety Committee that works to solve and prevent safety issues throughout our farm and facilities, as well as assisting in processing Worker's Compensation
  • Assist in building a healthy, team-oriented work environment to ensure continued success of Kauai Coffee Company, LLC. and support company initiatives including Employee Relations, Wellbeing, Diversity & Inclusion, Sustainability and Safety
  • Learn and apply principles and standards related to sustainability certifications and assist in providing relevant reports and information
  • Support all Human Resources functions including recruitment, migrant and H2A worker program, employee relations, etc.
  • Comply with all Company Rules, Company Policies and the Company/Union Agreements to ensure fair and equitable treatment of all employees and to maintain sound labor relations
  • Collaborate with HR team members, Senior Leadership, Managers/Supervisors and/or employees on additional projects as needed

  • In addition to solid understanding of payroll processing system, proficiency in or knowledge of using various computer software applications including Excel, Microsoft Word, Outlook.

Kauai Coffee is on the lookout for a Human Resources Administrator to support our team with payroll processing and benefits administration! This is a Full-Time salaried, non-exempt position. 

Human Resources promotes and supports a resilient workforce and thriving employee experience at Kauai Coffee, the largest coffee farm in the US that processes coffee from seed to cup, through the functions of recruitment, onboarding, employee relations and recognition, benefits and compensation.

A candidate can expect the following experience in this role:
