Key Areas of Responsibilities
- Manage payroll operations in collaboration with the HK HR payroll team, including monthly payroll processing, tax and social insurance compliance, and coordination with external vendors to ensure accuracy and timeliness
- Ensure compensation & benefits administration, including payroll adjustments, bonuses, and statutory requirements, while working closely with the HK HR payroll team to maintain compliance and accuracy
- Fully manage HR vendors and support procurement-related processes, including vendor selection, contract coordination, and ongoing vendor performance management in line with company policies
- Support the execution of talent acquisition strategy and end-to-end recruitment processes under the guidance of the Korea Sr. HR Manager, including interview coordination, candidate assessment, and preparation of compensation proposals
- Assist in the performance appraisal and annual compensation review process, working closely with business managers under the direction of the Korea Sr. HR Manager
- Provide support on HR policies, employee relations, grievances, disciplinary matters, and exit processes, and escalate to the Korea Sr. HR Manager where appropriate
- Collaborate with the HK HR team to support the internship program and maintain relationships with universities
- Provide support on ad hoc HR matters in Korea and overall HR operations as directed by the Korea Sr. HR Manager
- Participate in HR projects, including data analysis and reporting, and provide updates to the Korea Sr. HR Manager
Requirements
- At least 3 years relevant experience in a generalist or shared services HR function
- Degree qualified, ideally in Finance related
- Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail
- Intermediate to advanced computer skills especially in Excel
- Enthusiastic, proactive attitude and must be a good team player, willing to roll up the sleeves to get the job done
- Strong client service philosophy
- Excellent command of English - written and verbal, as well as Putonghua
- A proactive self-starter, with the ability to meet deadlines
- Experience with HR systems is an advantage
