This is a strategic people role focused on talent, leadership, culture, and organisational effectiveness. Partnering closely with the Denmark CEO, Executive Team, and senior leaders, you will help shape the people agenda, build leadership capability, drive engagement, and ensure the organisation has the talent and skills needed for future success. Combining strategic thinking with hands-on execution, you will play a key role in creating a high-performing and inclusive culture that delivers business impact.

What You'll Own

1. Talent, Leadership & Organisation Development

  • Support the CEO-led talent programme, helping to drive its success and impact.
  • Design and deliver bespoke leadership development journeys tailored to individual needs.
  • Lead future-skills planning in close partnership with business leaders, Operations, and Resource Planning, identifying the capabilities required to support the organisation's future direction.
  • Develop and manage mentoring programmes that foster growth and knowledge sharing across the business.

2. Culture & Engagement

  • Drive culture initiatives that unite business units and locations around a high-performing One Dentsu culture.
  • Improve employee engagement by identifying cross-business trends, making recommendations, and translating insight into actionable plans.
  • Embed Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DE&I) principles across all talent and people processes rather than treating them as standalone initiatives.
  • Deliver the international talent agenda locally, ensuring global priorities are effectively implemented within Denmark.}

3. Strategic Business Partnering

  • Act as the primary HR partner to senior leaders and management, building credibility through a deep understanding of the business, its commercial drivers, operating model, and competitive landscape.
  • Help leaders prioritise the people agenda, focusing on the initiatives that will have the greatest impact on business performance and employee outcomes.
  • Guide leaders through organisational change, role redesign, and team restructures.
  • Partner with people leaders across key moments of the employee lifecycle, including hiring, development, and exits.
  • Ensure compliance with employment legislation, HR policies, and EU Pay Transparency requirements, translating policy into consistent, fair, and practical application.

What You Bring

Must-Haves

  • 8+ years of HR Business Partnering experience, including senior stakeholder management.
  • 5+ years of HR experience with deep expertise in at least two of the following areas:
    • Talent Development
    • Leadership Development
    • Culture & Engagement
  • Proven experience owning and delivering strategic people initiatives end-to-end.
  • Hands-on experience designing and implementing leadership development programmes, including 360° feedback, leadership academies, and coaching journeys.
  • Strong ability to coach, influence, and constructively challenge senior leaders.
  • Commercial acumen, with familiarity in areas such as P&L management, utilisation, billable hours, and client commercial models within a professional services, media, or agency environment.
  • Fluent in both Danish and English, written and spoken.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Experience within media, advertising, communications, digital agencies, or another creative-services organisation.
  • Knowledge of Workday and employee engagement platforms such as Check-In or similar tools.

How You Show Up

  • You like being close to the business, not adjacent to it.
  • You're hands-on and execution-focused while maintaining a strategic, forward-looking perspective.
  • You are comfortable navigating ambiguity and converting strategy into clear plans, ownership, and measurable outcomes.
  • You measure success by business impact—retention, development, engagement, and leadership effectiveness—not activity levels.
  • You take genuine ownership of the initiatives you lead.
  • You are trusted by senior leaders to provide honest feedback, challenge thinking, and contribute strategic insight.
  • You proactively shape and drive the agenda rather than waiting for direction.
  • You're curious about AI and actively explore how it can enhance people and organisational outcomes.

Key Stakeholders

  • HR Director, Nordic & Benelux and Denmark – Your manager, coach, and strategic partner.
  • Denmark CEO & Executive Team – Key stakeholders for talent, leadership, culture, and organisational initiatives.

What This Role Isn't

  • A traditional HR Business Partner role.
  • A transactional HR position focused on administration and operational support.
  • A role that simply supports existing programmes. This position is expected to shape, lead, and own strategic talent, leadership, culture, and organisational agendas that directly influence business performance.
