Job Description - HR Consultant
Position Details
Location: Manufacturing Plant at Nashik, Mon to Sat working days
Experience: 5-10 years in a manufacturing environment
Role Purpose
The HR Consultant will support plant HR operations by managing time office activities, payroll coordination, statutory compliance, and employee lifecycle processes. The role requires a hands-on HR professional who can work closely with plant stakeholders to ensure smooth HR operations and compliance with labor laws.
Key Responsibilities
Time Office & Payroll Management
Manage employee attendance, shift schedules, leave records, and time office operations.
Ensure accurate processing and validation of attendance data for payroll inputs.
Coordinate with payroll teams/vendors for timely and error-free salary processing.
Address employee queries related to attendance, leave, and payroll.
Compliance & Statutory Management
Ensure compliance with applicable labor laws, factory regulations, and statutory requirements.
Maintain compliance-related records, registers, and documentation.
Support audits, inspections, and compliance reporting activities.
Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure adherence to statutory obligations.
HR Operations
Support onboarding and joining formalities.
Maintain records and HR documentation.
Assist in engagement, welfare initiatives, and routine HR activities.
Partner with plant leadership on day-to-day HR operational requirements.
Desired Skills & Competencies
Strong understanding of HR processes within a manufacturing setup.
Knowledge of labor laws, factory compliance, and statutory requirements.
Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Office, and attendance management systems.
Learning agility with the ability to handle multiple HR responsibilities.
Strong analytical, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
High attention to detail and process orientation.
Language Requirement
Fluency in Marathi
Preferred Profile
Experience in plant HR operations, payroll coordination, and compliance management.
Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and effectively engage with employees across levels.
