About this role
The HR Intern will provide practical support to the HR function while gaining exposure to HR systems, processes, reporting, document control, and continuous improvement activities. This position is suited to a student or recent graduate who is interested in developing experience in HR administration, project coordination, and business process improvement within a life sciences manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives across the Waterford site.
- Assist with HR data entry, validation, data cleansing, and record management activities.
- Assist with document control, file management, and digitalisation of HR records.
- Prepare HR presentations and communications
- Review existing administrative processes and help identify opportunities to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Coordinate project actions, follow-ups, and documentation to ensure tasks are completed on time.
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism when handling employee and HR information.
Qualifications & Experience
Essential
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree, diploma, or relevant qualification in Business, Human Resources, Administration, Management, Project Management, or a related discipline.
- Strong organisational and administrative skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and maintain accuracy.
- Professional approach and ability to handle confidential information appropriately.
Desirable
- Experience working on projects through college, placement, or previous employment.
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, or HR systems such as Workday.
- Interest in HR operations, systems, data, and continuous improvement.
