Job Summary:

This position within the Americas HR Service Center is responsible for delivering expert-level support in Employee Relations, Policy Management, and ADA compliance in a corporate and distribution center setting. The role partners closely with employees, people leaders, HR Strategic Business Partners, and HR Centers of Excellence (COEs) to resolve complex work matters, ensure legal and policy compliance and promote a fair and productive work environment.  In addition to core operational responsibilities, this role leads and contributes to HR projects and initiatives as assigned, including process improvements, policy enhancements, training development and facilitation, and enterprise-wide HR programs that support evolving business needs and workforce strategies. 

Principal Responsibilities:

Job Level Specifications:

  • Possesses comprehensive knowledge of HR principles, theories, and practices within the discipline.

  • Demonstrates proficiency in HR job function with a broad understanding of industry standards and methods.

  • Develops solutions for diverse situations and undertakes projects requiring evaluation and analysis, referencing policies, practices, or precedents as necessary to determine the best approach for achieving goals.

  • Works independently, applying judgment and discretion, at times with limited guidance on new tasks; outcomes may be reviewed for adequacy.

  • May serve as a key contact for assignments or projects and interact with professionals and management at all levels.

  • Collaborate with colleagues within the function and across the organization and may represent the department internally or externally.

  • Comfortable conducting training sessions virtually or in person.

Work Experience:

  • Typically, 5+ years of experience with bachelor's or equivalent.

Education and Certification(s):

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience that imparts similar knowledge and skills.

Distinguishing Characteristics:

  • Preferably, five or more years of Employee Relations experience.

  • PHR/SPHR certification preferred.
