d2m Services is recruiting a Hull Structure Lead Engineer / Project Manager for its affiliate d2m Engineering, part of the STAPEM Offshore Group.
d2m Engineering is a ship design and marine engineering company specialized in newbuilding and retrofit projects for vessels and offshore floating platforms, serving the Oil & Gas and Marine Renewable Energy industries. The company supports clients from early-stage studies through to construction follow-up, covering feasibility studies, basic design, cost estimation, shipyard negotiations and operational support.

Your role as Hull Structure Lead Engineer
You will be responsible for the delivery of hull structural design and calculations, in accordance with Class Rules and Client specifications.

Requirements
You hold a Master's degree in Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture or a related discipline and have a minimum of 10 years of professional experience as a structural engineer, including at least 5 years in a similar lead or management position.
You have solid knowledge of offshore structures and naval architecture, with specific expertise in the structural analysis of global and detailed hull structures.
Experience with FEMAP and Class software is expected.
You preferably have knowledge of structural interfaces with related disciplines, including:
A good knowledge of Class Rules (ABS, BV, DNV), IMO requirements and international standards is required.
Beyond your technical expertise, you have a strong work ethic and team spirit and are comfortable working in multicultural and international environments.
You have excellent written and verbal communication skills, are adaptable to changing and innovative environments, and are able to work autonomously while supervising junior engineers and reporting challenges or difficulties to project management.
Fluent English, both standard and technical, is required.
