What you will do

Johnson Controls is seeking a Human Resources Director to lead the people strategy for the Middle East and Africa region. In this senior role, you will partner with business leaders to align human capital priorities with business objectives, strengthen organizational capability, and support a culture where talent can grow and perform. You will be responsible for aligning business objectives with human capital strategies for senior leadership. The incumbent will also be responsible for strategic human resource planning and organizational development to provide the organization with the best people talent available and to position the organization as the employer of choice by being aware of policies, practices, and trends within the industry.  This role serves as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on business, talent, and workforce challenges. You will shape regional HR strategy, guide labor and employee relations, support organizational development, and help position Johnson Controls as an employer of choice through strong people practices and market awareness.

  • Maintains knowledge of global HR policies, programs, laws, and issues. Understands the differences of domestic and international policies and programs and coordinates the integration of all such programs.
  • Provides technical advice and knowledge to others within the human resource discipline.
