Human Resources Generalist, Human Resources, Full Time, Day

Position Summary

Acts as the first point of contact for the Human Resources department for incoming employees, applicants, and visitors. Coordinates the Recruitment efforts supporting the on-boarding process for staff hires of the health system and other areas of Human Resources, as needed. Note: Reworded for clarity of overall position duties as supported by position duties/competencies.

Education

High School diploma required. Associates degree preferred.

Experience

Minimum 1 year of office type support/administrative experience required.

Skills

Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point. Ability to communicate effectively (oral and in writing). Ability to effectively interact with customers to meet their needs. Ability to work independently with minimal direct supervision. Ability to work cooperatively within a team environment. Ability to handle frequent interruptions and adapt to changes in workload and work schedule. Ability to set priorities, make effective decisions, and respond quickly to customer's needs. Good organizational skills required.
