About this role

We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Human Resources Manager to manage the HR Department for two non-union facilities which include one 24/7 medium-sized location (home base) and another small location 2 hours away (visited 1 time per quarter). The HR Manager will partner closely with site leadership to drive key HR initiatives, ensure compliance, and support a positive, high-performance workplace culture. Key Responsibilities Lead all HR functions with three direct reports across two manufacturing sites, including employee relations, talent acquisition, performance management, and compliance. Serve as a trusted advisor to plant leadership on HR strategies, workforce planning, and organizational development Ensure compliance with federal, state and local employment laws and regulations Drive employee engagement initiatives and foster a positive workplace culture Oversee performance management processes, coaching managers on best practices Support training and development programs to enhance workforce capabilities Handle employee relations matters, conducting investigations and resolving issues effectively Maintain HR policies, procedures, and reporting systems Partner with leadership on compensation, benefits, and retention strategies Qualifications Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) required, with a preference for HR, Business or related degree PHR, SPHR, or SHRM-SCP certification strongly preferred 5+ years of experience at an HR Manager level, with a strong preference for experience in a manufacturing environment Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills Ability to travel as needed - approximately 6 times per year with rare overnight stays. Compensation Package/Benefits: $145,000 – $155,000 Relocation package offered Strong career growth potential Insurance coverage effective immediately after hire PTO/Retirement Plan/Paid Holidays
