What you'll do
- Develop HVAC designs for commercial, residential, institutional, and other building projects.
- Prepare HVAC design calculations, cooling and heating load calculations, and equipment selection.
- Develop HVAC layouts, ducting layouts, piping layouts, and system schematics.
- Prepare design drawings, specifications, schedules, and other project deliverables.
- Design HVAC systems including air-conditioning, ventilation, chilled water, and other relevant mechanical services.
- Coordinate HVAC designs with architectural, structural, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection disciplines.
- Review design inputs, project specifications, and applicable codes and standards.
- Support the preparation and review of technical reports, calculations, and design documentation.
- Conduct design reviews and ensure compliance with project quality standards and deadlines.
- Coordinate with project managers, design leads, and other stakeholders to resolve technical issues.
- Support BIM/CAD modelling and interdisciplinary clash coordination, where applicable.
- Provide technical support during project execution and address design-related queries.

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced HVAC Design Engineer with 5–10 years of experience in HVAC design and building services engineering. The candidate will be responsible for delivering HVAC design solutions for overseas and local projects, ensuring compliance with applicable design standards, project specifications, and quality requirements. The role involves coordination with multidisciplinary teams, preparation of engineering deliverables, and supporting projects from design development through completion.
