HVAC Technician

About the Role

• As an HVAC Technician, you'll play a key role in delivering planned and reactive maintenance services across the Western Sydney Airport Terminal. 
  
  Additionally, you'll:
• Carry out preventative and scheduled HVAC maintenance across a range of facilities
• Diagnose faults and perform breakdown repairs on air conditioning, refrigeration and mechanical services equipment
• Service equipment ranging from large commercial chillers through to smaller air conditioning systems
• Complete work orders, maintenance reports and inventory documentation accurately
• Provide recommendations to improve equipment performance and extend asset life
• Participate in an on-call roster and respond to after-hours callouts when required (approx. every 8 weeks)

About You

• Trade qualified Refrigeration Mechanic with a current Refrigerant Handling Licence
• Proven experience maintaining and repairing HVAC, refrigeration and mechanical ventilation systems
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills across commercial air conditioning equipment
• Sound understanding of Australian mechanical services standards and safety requirements
• Current Driver Licence
• Willingness to successfully complete a National Police Check
