Overview
An IC Design Engineer is needed by the Microcircuit Emulation Center at SRI International (formerly Sarnoff Corporation) in Princeton, NJ to support the manufacturing of microcircuits (integrated circuits). Through SRI's Generalized Emulation of Microcircuits (GEM) program, the Microcircuit Emulation Center (MEC) supplies form, fit, function, and interface replacements for obsolete microcircuits. This capability supports production, redesign, and sustainment requirements for the life of a weapon system. Check out our work! SRI’s Microcircuit Emulation Center is a government-supported, U.S.-based Trusted foundry. This position is 100% on site; relocation benefits are not available.

Qualifications

Ideal experience:
- Switch capacitor, Phased locked loop (PLL) and/or Pulse width modulation (PWM) controller design experience
- Knowledge of HDL (Verilog or VHDL) design & synthesis
- Scripting languages such as Perl, Python or TCL
The salary range is: $117,684-$155,934. Salary ranges will vary and are based on several factors, including geographic location, market competitiveness and equity amongst internal employees in similar roles. Positions may also qualify for SRI's Pay for Outstanding Performance program or the annual Performance Based Compensation program.
