THE TEAM

The mission of the Sustainability Department is to drive responsible and sustainable product and operations to deliver value for people, the planet and Aritzia.                

THE OPPORTUNITY

Aritzia is growing and our Sustainability team is growing with it. This is a unique opportunity to be part of the team responsible for driving improvements and continuously enhancing the sustainability of our business practices and supply chain. As the Senior Manager / Manager, Sustainability Strategy, Decarbonization, you will support with developing and executing Aritzia’s decarbonization strategy, driving emissions reductions across operations, logistics, and product to ensure alignment with climate targets and global best practices. THE ROLE

As the Senior Manager / Manager, Sustainability Strategy, Decarbonization, you will lead the team to:

  • Define and deliver Aritzia’s climate ambition, including our decarbonization approach
  • Reduce Aritzia’s environmental footprint throughout the value chain in line with planetary boundaries

THE QUALIFICATIONS

The Senior Manager / Manager, Sustainability Strategy, Decarbonization, has:

  • Proven skills, certifications, education and/or experience in:
    • Leading organizational change by developing and implementing climate governance and sustainability practices (e.g., GHG reduction roadmaps, sectoral decarbonization pathway strategy)
    • Environmental sustainability principles and decarbonization levers (e.g., energy efficiency, renewable energy, water stewardship, circularity, and sustainable materials)
    • Regulatory and emerging climate disclosure reporting standards (e.g., GHG Protocol, TCFD, CDP)
    • Managing complex datasets and using analytics and data visualization tools (e.g., Power Query, Power BI, Tableau)

THE COMPENSATION

At Aritzia, we provide market-leading compensation packages designed to reward impact through our pay-for-performance philosophy.

The range for roles at this level is $100,000 - $300,000 per year. Total compensation may include base, bonus and/or equity depending on the role, which has the potential to be greater than this range.
