Job Description:
Hitachi Rail is looking for an enthusiastic self-motivated Incoming Inspector who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate is comfortable performing a wide range of tasks from administrative to strategic. The position is based in Batesburg, SC.
The Incoming Inspector performs foundational inspection activities to verify that incoming materials meet required specifications. This role focuses on accurate measurement, documentation, and communication of nonconformances conducting functional tests purchased materials, using measuring tools (calipers, gauges), and documenting defects.
