Job Title: Infotainment system engineer for defect triaging

Experience:

• 6-9 years of relevant experience in defect triaging for infotainment system

 Education & Training:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Electronics & Communication/Electrical Engineering or in a relevant stream. 

Job Responsibilities:

• Root cause analysis of issues based on logs/traces.
• Identification of duplicate tickets based on root cause analysis.
• Identifying and assigning severity and priority of defects.
• Check for quality of the reported defects.
• Analyzing and identifying correct domain of the raised defects.
• Follows defined process guidelines for creating and maintaining triaging documentation.
• Collaborate with developers, testers and automation engineers to understand and clarify the reported defects.
• Perform tests for functional/non-functional requirements (if needed).

Mandatory Skills:

• Excellent in Infotainment system defect analysis and triaging
• Excellent in trace or log analysis (DLT/CAN/Ethernet logs etc.).
• Knowledge on automotive tools like DLT Viewer, Vector CANoe, CANalyzer, DTS Monaco etc.
• Strong in Automotive Infotainment system testing for different OEMs, regions and languages.
• Knowledge of automotive communication protocols like SOME-IP, SOME-IP SD, CAN, Flexray, MOST, Ethernet diagnostics UDP, UDS ISO-14229 etc.
• Excellent communication skills.

Desired Skills

• Knowledge on network communications.
• Working experience in trace analysis of Android applications.
• Experience with hardware devices used in automotive testing like Vector, K2L, Power Supply, power matrix etc.
