Inspector Team Leader

Position: Inspection Team Leader
Location: Milton Keynes
Shift patterns: Monday-Friday. Day time hours (08:00-16:30)
Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)

A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE

• To exceed and manage customer expectations by co-coordinating the operational activity of all Company ECO & Loan scheme vehicles to VWG Group employees and affiliates
• Oversee and point of escalation for the inbound inspectors, CES team, valeters and contractors on site
• Responsible for the inbound and CES team including 1:1's, objectives, employee engagement, induction, training & development
• Ensure inbound process runs smoothly to ensure cars are ready in time for customer appointments
• Ensure inbound team carry out inspections thoroughly ensuring Goods in Transit damage and missing items are captured
• Engage with the Brand and customers, build rapport, trust and be the first point of escalation for customers and a go to point for the rest of the team for knowledge and advice
• Provide CES and Inbound inspector cover and office Admin support when required

THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO

• Previous vehicle inspection experience is essential
• Previous people management experience is essential
• Excellent communication skills - Verbal and written
• Able to work in a pressured environment
• Ability to challenge in the right way
• Strong attention to detail
• Vehicle estimating experience would be desirable
