Whether you're an established Insurance Development Executive, Corporate Account Executive, Client Director, or an experienced Account Handler ready to take the next step, this could be the opportunity you've been looking for.

If a successful career within a growing business full of opportunity, flexibility, and variety sounds appealing, then read on...

So, what does the role of an Insurance Development Executive here involve?

Working closely with clients across a range of sectors, you'll take the time to understand their business operations, risks, and insurance requirements, designing tailored insurance and risk management solutions that protect their assets and liabilities.

Responsibilities include:

  • Meeting with prospective clients to understand their business, risks, and insurance requirements.

  • Conducting a full insurance and risk management review to identify exposures and protection needs.

  • Gathering and presenting risk information to support the broking and placement process.

  • Liaising with insurers and underwriters to obtain competitive quotations and solutions.

  • Presenting and selling insurance programmes and risk management solutions to secure new business.

  • Identifying opportunities to expand existing client portfolios through cross-selling and additional covers.

  • Generating new business opportunities in line with company objectives and individual targets.

  • Managing client communications, meeting agendas, reports, and follow-up actions in a timely and professional manner.

  • Maintaining up-to-date technical knowledge of insurance products, market conditions, and regulatory developments.

  • Ensuring compliance with FCA regulations, company procedures, and customer service standards.

  • Strong commercial motor fleet experience is highly desirable.

The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, self-motivated, and committed to delivering exceptional client service while developing new business opportunities.

As this is a road-based role, a full UK driving licence is required.

The rest is all about you as a person:

  • Most importantly, you'll bring your best self to work every day and deliver an outstanding experience for clients and colleagues alike.

  • You'll be naturally proactive, using your initiative to identify opportunities and grow your portfolio.

  • You'll have excellent relationship-building and communication skills, with the confidence to engage with business owners and decision-makers.

  • You'll be driven to learn, develop, and stay current with insurance market trends and developments.

  • You'll enjoy working collaboratively, supporting colleagues and contributing positively to team success.

  • You'll be resilient, adaptable, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • You'll demonstrate professionalism and integrity in every interaction, ensuring the fair treatment of customers at all times.

  • You'll have strong organisational skills and attention to detail, ensuring work is completed accurately and efficiently.
