Intelligence Officer – HALTED

We are currently recruiting for Intelligence Officers based in Essex.  Pay rate: £22 per hour PAYE / £28.06 per hour UMB Hours: Full time (37 hours per week). Contract duration: Temporary ongoing   Purpose: To provide high level analytical and actionable intelligence to support operational criminal investigators to assist in the prevention, targeting, disruption and detection of crime. Use analytical techniques to create intelligence products to inform relevant strategic and tactical planning to the standard defined within the National Intelligence Model, utilising partner agencies to prevent crime and corruption. Provide an efficient and effective service to managerial, operational and investigative decision making and identify weaknesses in existing policy and procedures. Training of staff in relation to fraud and corruption offences Essential experience:

• Previous experience working as an intelligence officer or analyst.

Essential knowledge:

• Sound practical knowledge of all investigative legislation relevant to the provision of a national (England, Scotland, Wales & Northern Ireland) investigative capability.
• Knowledge of the National Intelligence Model and how it works in practice.
• Ability to develop and forge relationships with other agencies creating opportunities for joint working where applicable.
