Interim Associate Director of Financial Management Location: West Sussex Contract: Temporary (6 months initial) Salary: £53-£57 per hour umbrella / £47.15-£50.66 PAYE Inclusive / £42.07-£45.21 PAYE Exclusive Start Date: ASAP Contact: rachel.burgess@servicecare.org.uk   Job Description Service Care Solutions are recruiting on behalf of a public sector organisation in West Sussex for an Interim Associate Director of Financial Management to join the team on a temporary basis. The postholder will lead the financial management function, providing expert financial advice and challenge to senior leaders, supporting service transformation and ensuring robust financial governance, forecasting and performance management arrangements are in place across the organisation.   Key Responsibilities Lead the Financial Management and Business Partnering function. Drive annual and medium-term financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and performance management. Lead financial recovery, CIPs, efficiency and value-for-money initiatives. Provide strategic financial advice on transformation, business cases and investment decisions. Lead and develop finance teams while ensuring strong governance and stakeholder relationships. Candidate Criteria Fully qualified accountant with significant senior finance leadership experience. Extensive NHS experience across financial management, planning and business partnering. Proven track record in financial recovery, CIPs and organisational transformation. Strong influencing, analytical and communication skills, with experience advising senior and Executive leaders.
