Intermediate Manual QA Engineer

We are currently looking for an experienced Manual QA Engineer with a strong background in various types of testing, including functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing, to join one of our product teams at FIO SYSTEMS. The ideal candidate has a solid understanding of QA processes and methodologies.

Its products cover all processes in the areas of real estate management and marketing, virtual banking, and claims management. The role: 

You’ll join one of our cross-functional teams in Sofia, responsible for a specific domain of our real estate platform used by banks and brokerage firms across Germany.

You’ll be involved throughout the development process – from clarifying requirements and defining test scenarios to testing new functionality, performing regression testing, and participating in release approval.

Your testing will cover functional, integration, regression, and exploratory testing across our web-based products. And will collaborate and support developers, product owners, and other QAs to ensure high product quality throughout the development lifecycle.

Your responsibilities:

• Analyze functional and non-functional requirements

• Perform extensive manual testing for new features and create test cases in TestRail

• Identify, reproduce, report, and track software bugs

• Cover cross-browser and device testing with BrowserStack

• Perform regression testing

• Take part in the release approval process

• Research and share new practices, tools, and technologies to increase QA efficiency

What we expect:

• 3+ years of professional experience in Quality Assurance

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify the root causes of failures and defects

• Attention to detail and strong self-organizational skills

• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team

• Excellent written and spoken English

• Knowledge of German would be considered an advantage
