Salary: £2500pcm - Hybrid working with at least three days each week in our Blackfriars office.

Start your consulting career by helping clients address questions that matter. As an Intern at BRG, you will contribute to live projects, learn from experienced colleagues and build analytical skills from day one.

A career shaped by your curiosity

From London, you may work with colleagues and clients across EMEA and beyond. Our regional teams are based in the UK, Belgium, France, Italy, Hong Kong, Singapore, Bangkok, South Africa and the United Arab Emirates.

Our work spans competition economics, forensic accounting and investigations, commercial litigation and arbitration, construction and regulated industries. Projects vary, so you can explore different questions as you develop specialist expertise.

What you will do

Our Interns carry out qualitative and quantitative work on a range of projects across all of our practice areas. You may research an industry, gather and test evidence, analyse data, build models or help prepare clear findings for clients.

We’re committed to helping our Interns succeed by providing them with dedicated mentors, training programs, hands-on learning opportunities and support from industry experts. Our Intern program is a pipeline program, and we aim to convert Interns to full-time Associates after graduation, assuming the role is a fit on both ends.

Your experience as an Intern

From your first weeks, you will follow a structured onboarding and training programme that prepares you to contribute confidently to project work.

• Tackle real client questions: Apply theory and industry insight to complex issues.

• Work with data that matters: Analyze client datasets using appropriate tools and statistical techniques, with support from experienced colleagues.

• Build clear analysis: Develop models that connect evidence,  theory and industry context.

• Explore current debates: Research market developments and academic literature, then turn your findings into useful client insight.

• Contribute as part of a team: Share ideas, ask questions and learn from colleagues with different disciplines, experiences and perspectives.

• Be part of office life: Choose from team events, sports and social activities. We aim to offer varied ways to connect, so participation is welcoming and accessible.

What we are looking for

A bachelor’s or master’s degree in any subject, and you must be at least in your second year or, completed or expected to be completed the year that you join us. We welcome applicants from every degree discipline.

Our Practice Areas 

Interns are hired to support project work aligned to one of BRG’s practice areas, though there may be flexibility to work across multiple practice areas. Candidates can select a preferred practice area as part of the application process. You can find more information about them below. 

• Commercial Disputes: We combine exceptional analytical and accounting skills and industry-specific knowledge to provide comprehensive support throughout the legal process. From initial case assessment and in-depth damages analysis to litigation support and expert testimony in hearings, trials, arbitration, regulatory proceedings, and mediation, we deliver data-driven insights to secure favorable outcomes.

• Antitrust & Competition: Experts in our antitrust practice apply learning from industrial organization, econometrics and microeconomic theory to provide testimony to counsel, corporations, and governments in matters involving antitrust litigation and merger reviews. Our experts and academic affiliates have testified in some of the largest and most significant antitrust matters of the past two decades, including antitrust actions involving platforms and multi-sided markets, automobile manufacturers, insurance companies, financial markets and other industries. Our project teams frequently evaluate industry conduct and assess antitrust liability, calculate damages from anticompetitive conduct and build simulation models to understand the impacts of proposed mergers.  

• Business Insurance Claims (BIC): We provide immediate and strategic guidance to policyholders following a catastrophe. Our BIC experts meticulously analyze financial data and operational records, develop robust financial models, and prepare comprehensive, well-documented insurance claims, accelerating resolution and maximizing claim payments.
