[What the role is]
To understand the roles and responsibilities of the Estate Management team, gain insight into our work processes and tools, and develop an appreciation of contract management practices. The intern will be exposed to our work on both the mainland (ROPT for farms, routine inspections of land and properties) and islands (lodge operations, island inspections, special projects, and brainstorming of innovative ideas.)
[What you will be working on]
- Support the management and maintenance of vacant State land and properties.
- Assist in data collection, records management, and report preparation.
- Support routine inspections of State land, properties, and islands.
- Assist in lodge operations, special projects, and operational initiatives.
- Gain exposure to estate management, contract management, and public sector land administration.
[What we are looking for]
- Students with background in Real Estate, Project & Facilities Management or similar areas preferred.
- Meticulous and customer focused.
- Has great attention to details and can multi-task.
- Willing to learn
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with demonstrated ability to write professionally and engage effectively with stakeholders.
- Self-motivated individual with the ability to work independently/team and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.
