Internal Sales Executive - Manufacturing

THE COMPANY
Our client is a specialist manufacturer supplying custom, made-to-order products to growing food & beverage and personal care brands across Australia. They've built a reputation for quality, flexibility and fast turnaround, working with brands that are scaling up rather than mass-market giants. Due to strong demand, they're now looking for an Outbound Sales Executive to join the team.

THE ROLE

• Based in Castle Hill, this is a fully office-based role, five days a week.
• Our client's customers are growing brands, not micro-startups and not enterprise, typically ordering in the low thousands of units per run.
• You will own the full sales cycle from first contact through to close: converting warm leads, self-sourcing new prospects, quoting, sending samples, following up and closing the sale yourself.
• This is NOT a field sales role and does not come with a vehicle allowance. All selling happens by phone, email and digital channels.
• You will work closely with the customer service and production teams to ensure you always know what's genuinely possible before it's promised to a customer.

THE CANDIDATE

• THE MOST IMPORTANT THING: genuine outbound B2B sales experience where you were measured on revenue closed, not meetings booked or appointments set.
• Background selling into procurement, operations or facilities buyers is highly relevant, this could be packaging, promotional merchandise, workwear, PPE, signage, office or print consumables, industrial supplies, or similar transactional B2B categories.
• Real, demonstrable comfort working inside a CRM or online quoting system, this needs to be genuine experience, not just familiarity with the concept.
• You are someone who wants to build a career on the phone rather than the road. If your ideal role involves being out visiting clients, this isn't the right fit.
• Exposure to a manufacturing or production environment is an advantage, not a requirement, it helps you understand the boundaries of what can and can't be delivered.

For the right candidate, our client can offer $85k Base + Bonus + Super.
