Internal Sales - Trade

Sunshine Mitre 10 Bundaberg is looking for a motivated team member to join our Trade team.

 

This role is about supporting our in-store Trade Team and our Trade Account Managers who are out on the road looking after builders and customers across the Bundaberg region.

 

You’ll be dealing with customer orders, preparing quotes, checking, and ordering stock, answering phone and email enquiries and working closely with our Trade Account Managers to make sure their customers’ orders are looked after from start to finish.

The role

• Work closely with the in-store Trade Team and Trade Sales teams
• Manage orders for builders and trade customers across the Bundaberg region
• Prepare and follow up quotes
• Process customer orders accurately and efficiently
• Check stock availability and arrange stock ordering where required
• Communicate with customers by phone and email
• Follow up orders and keep customers updated on progress
• Coordinate with the yard, store, and delivery teams
• Assist with customer requirements and orders
• Help resolve customer queries and issues
• Provide face-to-face customer service at the trade counter and drive-thru when required

About you

• Excellent communication skills and confidence dealing with customers
• Previous experience in sales, customer service, administration, or a trade environment
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Able to manage multiple orders and enquiries at the same time
• Good computer skills and comfortable learning new systems
• Reliable, proactive, and able to work as part of a team
• Good problem-solving skills and a practical approach to getting things done
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn

 

Experience in the building, hardware or timber industry would be an advantage but is not essential.

 

We will provide training on our products, systems and processes for the right person.
