Provides PHP fixed income prices to Fixed Income Sales Distribution over the phone, via chat or verbal to provide competitive pricing to our customers.
Monitors the PHP fixed income markets through Bloomberg, Reuters and other sources of information to generate revenues for the bank.
Formulates trading strategies based on market outlook through Bloomberg, Reuters and other sources of information to generate revenues for the bank.
Monitors PHP fixed income positions resulting from customer transactions via Excel to optimize the PHP fixed income portfolio of the bank.
Checks and verifies management profitability report from Financial Control Division through email to ensure accuracy of the units' profit reports.
Monitors actual profit and loss performance and accounts for any variance via phone or email to verify the numbers from Financial Control Division with Treasury’s estimates.
Generates daily PHP fixed income transaction summary via Excel or Guava to accurately track gains and losses from PHP fixed income transactions.
Covers PHP fixed income positions resulting from customer transactions via phone or chat to optimize the PHP fixed income portfolio of the bank.

JOB SUMMARY

Services the PHP Fixed Income requirements of Fixed Income Sales Distribution.
Manages the bank’s PHP Fixed Income trading position.
Formulates trading strategies based on market outlook.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Deal Management / Negotiation
1.	Provides PHP fixed income prices to Fixed Income Sales Distribution over the phone, via chat or verbal to provide competitive pricing to our customers.
Financial Markets Analysis
1.	Monitors the PHP fixed income markets through Bloomberg, Reuters and other sources of information to generate revenues for the bank.
Portfolio/Investment Management
1.	Formulates trading strategies based on market outlook through Bloomberg, Reuters and other sources of information to generate revenues for the bank.
2.	Monitors PHP fixed income positions resulting from customer transactions via Excel to optimize the PHP fixed income portfolio of the bank.
Risk Management, Security, and Information Assurance
1.	Checks and verifies management profitability report from Financial Control Division through email to ensure accuracy of the units' profit reports.
2.	Monitors actual profit and loss performance and accounts for any variance via phone or email to verify the numbers from Financial Control Division with Treasury’s estimates.
3.	Generates daily PHP fixed income transaction summary via Excel or Guava to accurately track gains and losses from PHP fixed income transactions.
Trading Platform Knowledge

-	Has to have a basic understanding of the co-dependent relationship of PHP Fixed Income trading team with all the other desks within Treasury. Has an understanding of the PHP Fixed Income markets and compliance to regulatory requirements. Has an understanding of Fixed Income Sales Distribution products and services. Has an understanding of the PHP Fixed Income markets, the key levers that drive profitability.
-	Can work with the other traders in Treasury, Compliance, Financial Control Division and Risk.
-	Ability to attain income and volume targets.
