Inventory Merchandise Manager - ASICS QVB

Company Description

The ASICS Retail Team is growing! We’re on the hunt for an analytical and proactive Inventory & Merchandising Manager (IMM) to join our ASICS QVB team. The IMM collaborates with the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager to deliver a World-Class Customer Experience and Retail Standards through effectively managing organised inventory. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for stock integrity, merchandising standards and developing the store team.

Operations – Attention to Detail:

• Enables Speed and Accuracy
• Monitor stock levels and enforce accurate receiving and dispatch processes, identifying discrepancies and maintaining strong stock integrity.
• Lead efficient stocktake planning and execution to ensure ongoing inventory accuracy.
• Adapt quickly and apply innovative solutions to optimise stock control and product availability, delivering an organised environment that achieves a World-Class Customer Experience.
• Establish the benchmark for operational consistency and workplace organisation through structured routines that elevate sales and team productivity.
• Collaborate and communicate across all channels to proactively address the store's stock needs, execute sales and control store performance.
• Uphold safety measures and promote awareness, encouraging the team to follow safe practices both front-of-house and back-of-house to maintain a safe and compliant workplace.

Operations – Power of Placement with Purpose

• Support, plan and execute store presentation using core visual merchandising tools.
• Collaborate with leadership to ensure Visual Merchandising standards are consistently met to World-Class Retail Standards.
• Deliver an organised, well-presented environment that maximises product availability and enhances the customer experience.

Qualifications

That's enough about us, here's what we'd like to see from you:

• Proven experience in retail inventory / stock management, ideally in the sporting or fashion industry.

• Demonstrated leadership experience with the ability to motivate, develop and manage a team to success.

• Strong knowledge of stock-management processes including receiving, dispatch, replenishment, stocktake and stock integrity.

• Sound visual merchandising skills and knowledge of fashion/product trends relevant to the brand. · Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate confidently across store teams, leadership and Head Office channels.

• High level of organisational skills, problem solving and attention to detail.

• Ability to work efficiently with minimum supervision to produce desired outcomes.

• Support and implementation of Occupational Health and Safety practices in the store.

• Ability to learn quickly and acquire technical knowledge across a range of ASICS products.

• Ability to identify performance issues and manage and resolve them with a suitable outcome as soon as possible.

• Ability to remain calm and lead effectively under pressure during peak trade and promotional periods.
