Your Impact

The Inventory Replenishment Manager is accountable for inventory flow execution that drives in stock and product availability for the customer across multiple merchandise categories, channels, and distribution networks. This is accomplished by leading a team of replenishment specialists who execute replenishment strategies that support strong in-stock performance, healthy inventory levels, and profitable sales growth across assigned merchandise categories or business areas. This leader partners closely with Inventory Planning, Merchandising, Supply Chain, Store Operations, and Finance to ensure inventory is positioned to meet customer demand while balancing operational constraints and inventory productivity goals. The Inventory Replenishment Manager develops team capability, drives execution excellence, and continuously improves replenishment processes in a fast-paced retail environment. The role requires strong people leadership, analytical thinking, collaboration, and the ability to influence cross-functional partners to deliver business results.

What You Will Do

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of replenishment specialists by providing clear priorities, regular feedback, performance management, and career development.
• Manage day-to-day replenishment execution to ensure appropriate inventory levels based on demand patterns, seasonality, promotional activity, resets, and supply constraints.
• Monitor and improve key performance indicators including in-stock rates, inventory turns, weeks of supply, and vendor fill rates.
• Identify inventory risks and opportunities and develop action plans to improve in stock levels while minimizing excess inventory.
• Partner closely with Inventory Planning and Merchandising to ensure replenishment execution aligns with inventory strategies and business objectives.
• Collaborate with Inventory Planning, Merchandising, Supply Chain, Distribution Centers, and Store Operations to resolve inventory issues and improve inventory execution.
• Escalate significant supply disruptions, demand changes, or execution risks with recommended solutions to minimize business impact.
• Drive purchase order flow and replenishment execution to ensure timely and accurate inventory movement inclusive of purchase order placement to support key events such as resets, promotions, seasonal flow; and that purchase orders are placed to meet both DC and store target arrival dates.
• Drive implementation of replenishment system enhancements, process improvements, and operational best practices.
• Drive consistency in replenishment processes, inventory controls, and operational standards across the team.
• Utilize reporting and system data to identify trends, measure performance, and support data-driven decision making.
• Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and customer focus within the team.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Mathematics, or a related field; or equivalent years of experience in lieu of education requirement, if applicable
• 7+ years of experience in retail, manufacturing, or supply chain.
• 5+ years of experience in inventory planning, replenishment, merchandise planning, demand planning, retail operations, merchandise buying, or assortment planning.
• 1+ years of people leadership experience managing professional-level associates.
• Strong understanding of replenishment processes and inventory management principles within a retail, wholesale, omni-channel, or distribution environment.
• Experience using inventory replenishment systems, forecasting tools, and reporting applications.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Demonstrated ability to partner cross-functionally and influence business decisions using data and analysis.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to influence cross-functional partners.
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize multiple initiatives and lead effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills/Education

• Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Mathematics, or a related field
• Experience in a large-scale retail or omnichannel environment.
• Experience with Relex, SAP, Oracle, Blue Yonder, Manhattan, or similar replenishment platforms.
• Knowledge of inventory optimization, forecasting concepts, and supply chain processes.
