What you'll do

  • Support the Investment Manager’s engagement with the fund board(s) and service providers, including regular engagement with the ManCo and the administrator/depository.
  • Support the governance of fund events: fund launches, share class launches, fee changes, prospectus and legal document updates, benchmark and strategy changes, mergers and closures etc.
  • Assist in the resolving issues related to trade lifecycle. Data and process issues related to model changes, rebalances, corporate actions, cash and flows, and their impact on positioning in various systems.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders related to how we operate our fund and model portfolio solutions.
  • Assist in the delivery of investment technology and data workstreams. Platform set up, testing of systems such as FactSet and Snowflake, assisting in the adoption by portfolio managers.
  • Assist with senior engagement, performance governance and escalation management across the external provider model. Ensure robust MI, service standards, issues tracking and evidence‑based oversight appropriate to the scale and complexity of the platform.
  • Assist in the resolution of issues arising on Davy managed funds, including tax issues, board requests and information requests from the ManCo, board or administrator.
  • Act as a central business lead on the Investment Management Programme, driving improvements to the investment team’s technology and data platform, systems and workflows.
  • Be a key point of contact for Investment Manager content in UCITS board packs, including any incidents, key distribution trends, exceptions and remediation, and take ownership of responses to board queries.
  • Respond to information requests from the ManCo, board and administrator, and coordinate the firm’s input across internal teams.

About the role 

An exciting opportunity has opened up in as a Investment Platform Senior Associate in our Investment Team.

This role is the investment professional who works alongside portfolio operations and fund platform management on the day-to-day running of the discretionary investment solutions.

The successful candidate will build a combination of capability: a working knowledge of how UCITS funds are governed, how portfolio decisions are executed across a multi-provider model, and how investment decisions and data flows through a modern front office stack. This is a development seat for someone who wants a route into a broader investment management career.

In the role, the successful candidate will:
