What you'll do

  • Prepare presentation and support materials for investor meetings
  • Work with Investor Relations team as well as existing and prospective investors to respond to inquiries related to product offerings, including due diligence questionnaires, RFPs, and ad hoc requests
  • Assist in content management related to Audax Private Debt products and offerings
  • Collaborate with internal teams to gather information and craft responses that accurately convey the attributes of Audax Private Debt
  • Develop and maintain deep cross-functional relationships with Investment, Finance, Compliance, Tax, and other internal teams
  • Gather and maintain information on competitors to help better position Audax’ offerings
  • Create innovative marketing collateral that clearly communicates the strategy and value proposition of Audax Private Debt products (e.g., presentations, fact sheets, PPMs, etc.)
  • Assist in the drafting and developing of investor communications, including quarterly and annual reports and letters
  • Create materials for investor events, including investor meetings/conference calls and advisory board meetings
  • Compile market data and liaise with Investment and Investor Relations teams to create market updates
  • Facilitate internal review process for all external materials, including with the Investment team, Compliance and/or Legal team

POSITION SUMMARY:

Audax Group is seeking an Investor Relations Associate to become a key contributor on a high-performing and expanding team.  The firm’s Investor Relations effort has a high degree of responsibility, interacting externally with Limited Partners and internally with senior management.  The Associate will primarily support the Audax Private Debt business in New York, by assisting in both client relations and fundraising efforts.

The role requires the ability to understand Audax Private Debt’s various products and vehicles.  Successful candidates are creative problem solvers who can prioritize multiple tasks and deliverables in a deadline-oriented environment.  Attention to detail, quantitative analytical skills, strong interpersonal skills, and a rigorous work ethic are prerequisites.  Prior work experience in leveraged finance and/or private markets investments is preferred.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Client Relations and Fundraising

LOCATION: New York, NY. 4 days/week in office. These in-office requirements may change based on the needs of the business. 

FOR NEW YORK CITY ONLY: The base salary range for this position is $135,000 - $155,000. The base salary range represents the estimated low and high end for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation may vary and will be determined based on but not limited to, the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and Audax reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. An employee may also be eligible for annual discretionary incentive compensation based on performance.
