IT Director - End User Computing, Infrastructure, Cybersecurity & Manufacturing

This role is responsible for defining and executing the global strategy for workplace technologies, site infrastructure, cybersecurity, and manufacturing IT operations. Ensures secure, reliable, and compliant technology services across corporate, engineering, distribution, and manufacturing sites. Partners with business, engineering, and operations leaders to drive productivity, operational excellence, plant uptime, quality, and growth through technology. Leads TISAX compliance, cybersecurity governance, operational resilience, and OT/IT convergence initiatives across the enterprise.

What you’ll do:

• Lead the global workplace technology strategy across Microsoft 365, Teams, SharePoint, Copilot, endpoint management, and digital workplace services, driving employee productivity, automation, AI-enabled support, and continuous improvement of digital experience KPIs.

• Lead and support global manufacturing IT operations by ensuring the availability, performance, and reliability of plant IT environments, production systems, shop floor technologies, and industrial networks, while enabling plant launches, expansions, and transformation initiatives.

• Define and govern global infrastructure standards while ensuring the availability, performance, and resilience of networks, cloud platforms, and data services, including leadership of disaster recovery and business continuity programs.

• Develop and lead cybersecurity governance across IT and OT environments, implementing security controls, driving TISAX and regulatory compliance, and managing enterprise risk, vulnerability remediation, and incident response programs.

• Drive smart factory, IoT, and predictive maintenance initiatives by aligning IT architecture and technology capabilities with manufacturing innovation, digital transformation, and operational excellence strategies.

• Manage global technology vendors, budgets, and service delivery performance, driving cost optimization, operational efficiency, and compliance with SLAs.

• Build and lead high-performing global IT teams by fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and collaboration, while developing future technology leaders through talent development and succession planning initiatives.

What is required:

Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline.

15+ years of progressive IT leadership experience in global manufacturing environments (automotive preferred)

7+ years leading global teams in infrastructure operations, digital workplace, manufacturing IT or plant IT and cybersecurity

Experience with SAP, MES, PLM, and manufacturing ecosystems

Digital transformation and operational excellence programs experience

OT cybersecurity and industrial networking

• Advanced English proficiency is a must
