Responsibilities

  • Provide onsite IT and OT support for laboratory devices, manufacturing systems, and local applications in a regulated environment.
  • Troubleshoot hardware, Windows operating systems, connectivity, and application-related issues.
  • Perform installations, moves, changes, hardware replacements, and device restarts.
  • Support thin clients, industrial PCs, instrument workstations, and LAC/E systems.
  • Manage incidents, service requests, problems, and change activities in line with IT service management processes.
  • Support local applications, including user access management and application retirement activities.
  • Create and maintain IQ and OQ documentation.
  • Support application and instrumentation software upgrades.
  • Install, configure, and support local databases, including Microsoft SQL Server Express.
  • Execute backup, restore, and restore testing activities.
  • Develop backup scripts, work instructions, and technical documentation.
  • Coordinate support activities with internal IT teams and external vendors.
  • Maintain accurate inventories of supported applications and devices.
  • Collaborate closely with end users to resolve technical issues and ensure minimal disruption to laboratory and manufacturing operations.

Requirements

  • Experience in IT support, application support, laboratory IT, or OT support.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, Windows operating systems, networking, and local applications.
  • Good knowledge of networking, databases, and user access management.
  • Ability to follow technical procedures and produce accurate technical documentation.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
  • Experience supporting laboratory instruments, manufacturing systems, or industrial environments is an advantage.
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or another regulated industry is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of GxP, IQ/OQ processes, or other regulated industry requirements is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow, ITIL, Citrix, Microsoft SQL Server Express, or automated backup solutions is an advantage.
  • Fluency in Slovenian and English (both written and spoken) is essential.
  • Candidate must provide a Criminal Record Certificate issued no more than 3 months before the start date.
