IT System Administrator (Human)

What you'll do
- Coordinate on-site operations in the Frankfurt/Offenbach area
- Support and advise the team (approx. 100 people) in all IT-related matters together with your colleagues
- Manage the daily business (Device management, Provisioning, On-/Offboarding, Identity and Access Management (IAM), SaaS Stack Management, Monitoring & Documentation, Procurement)
- Work on automation and optimization of new and existing IT processes
- Architect and deploy MDM solutions in Apple client environment
- Administer macOS (employee client) and Linux environments (internal tools) with a focus on Docker
- Support our engineering teams by provisioning and optimizing pre-production and staging environments, ensuring seamless Docker-based workflows and consistent local development setups
- Manage internal network and server infrastructure including Firewall, high density WiFi, switching, routing, VLAN, Backup & Disaster Recovery
- Collaboration and management of service providers (hosting, telecommunications, tooling)
- Assisting the CISO with the IT-related management of the ISMS
What they're looking for
- You have completed vocational training in the IT field, a degree in computer science / business informatics or another comparable qualification.
- You have experience in administering complex IT environments and are passionate about Apple systems and networks
- Experience with Linux and Docker is a must.
- Communicating in German and English is no problem for you.
- You have a strong mindset for IT security and naturally integrate security best practices into your day-to-day operations.
Nice to have
- Hands-on Apple experience is a plus
- While not required, a basic understanding of ISMS (ISO 27001) is a plus.
