What you'll do

  • Lead enterprise IT training initiatives supporting system implementations, expansions, upgrades, and optimizations across Beth Israel Lahey Health.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive training plans aligned with project objectives, change management strategies, and deployment timelines.
  • Assess training impacts and resource requirements, and coordinate trainers, instructional designers, subject matter experts, super users, and vendor partners.
  • Oversee the development and maintenance of training curricula, job aids, e-learning content, and other learning materials.
  • Partner with project teams, operational leaders, and stakeholders to ensure workforce readiness and successful adoption of new technologies.
  • Manage training activities associated with major enterprise platforms, including Epic, Workday, workforce management, scheduling, and other business and clinical applications.
  • Direct deployment readiness efforts, including training completion tracking, competency validation, go-live preparation, and post-implementation support.
  • Provide oversight of enterprise Learning Management System (LMS) activities, including learning campaigns, assignments, reporting, and compliance tracking.
  • Monitor training effectiveness through metrics, feedback, adoption measures, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Establish and maintain enterprise training standards, governance, and best practices in collaboration with IT Change Management leadership.
  • Serve as the primary training lead and advisor for technology transformation initiatives across all BILH entities.
  • Prepare and present training status updates, risks, readiness assessments, and outcomes to project and executive leadership.

The IT Training Manager is a strategic leadership role within the IT Change Management organization responsible for the planning, development, coordination, and execution of enterprise-wide training strategies that support technology-enabled transformation across Beth Israel Lahey Health and all affiliated entities.

This position serves as the training workstream manager for small and large-scale technology initiatives, including but not limited to Epic and Workday expansions, workforce management and scheduling deployments, and other enterprise digital transformation programs. The IT Training Manager partners closely with project teams, operational leaders, clinical and business stakeholders, and change management professionals to ensure workforce readiness, adoption, and sustained proficiency across the organization.

The role provides leadership in training strategy development, resource planning, curriculum design oversight, deployment readiness, learning management system (LMS) administration and campaigns, and enterprise training governance. The successful candidate will establish scalable training practices that support BILH's vision of delivering exceptional patient care through technology-enabled excellence.

Pay Range:

$115,000.00 USD - $140,000.00 USD

The pay range listed for this position is the annual base salary range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, that may include seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geography of work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law.
