Java Full Stack Engineer - Assistant Manager

Who we are looking for:

As a Senior Developer, the candidate will be responsible for developing solutions for GTS Integration Services team. The candidate must have 6+ years of experience in developing web applications in Java, JavaScript frameworks, Spring MVC and Microservices on native and open cloud platforms using CI/CD. The successful candidate must be effective at managing multiple projects/tasks of varying complexities and be capable of meeting deadlines. The role expects senior developers with strong experience in business and software development, data analysis, system flows and design patterns in order to strategically develop the various products for Integration Services team.

As Senior Developer (SA), you will be responsible for:

• Analysis, Design and development of solutions for integration services. Candidate should deliver development tasks based on coding best practices and considering non-functional aspects.

• Participate in all major technical upgrades and large technical efforts.

• Manage your efforts within and outside the agile team and ensure tasks are completed successfully within deadlines with agreed quality standards.

• Understand user needs and propose optimized options for solutions. Anticipate critical issues and risks; take responsibility for resolution across the organization.

• Apply analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to work independently and collaboratively.

• Using and integrating processes through various transmission protocols using BPM based tools.

• Developing solutions on file transport, messaging and API integration protocols using proprietary and industry standard formats.

• System Integration using integration software's - bespoke, vendor and/or open source.

Education & Preferred Qualifications:

• Minimum bachelor’s degree required.

• Minimum 6+ years of experience in developing Enterprise Web applications in Java, Spring Boot or Python.

• Must have experience in Angular and/or React.JS & Node.js.

• Must have experience on one or more protocols REST, SOAP, GraphQL, GRPC, Avro, WebSocket.

• Must have hands-on experience in Relational (Oracle, PostgreSQL, Etc.) and/or NOSQL DB’s.

• Must have hands-on experience in Unit Testing framework such as JUnit or Pytest.

• Must have hands-on experience in at least one of Azure, AWS, GCP, OpenShift etc.

• Must have work experience on Build frameworks (Maven or Gradle) or (Poetry, PDM or PIPenv)

• Must have work experience in Agile Teams with a clear understanding of the Agile model.

• Nice to have experience in Dockers, Kubernetes, DevOps/CI/CD.

• Nice to have experience working with any of the messaging platforms like IBM MQ, ActiveMQ or Rabbit MQ or Kafka.

• Nice to have experience in File Transfer protocol like SFTP, FTP, Samba and MFT.

• Nice to have working knowledge on Co-pilot, Devin or any other AI code-assistant tool.
