Playtech‘s IMS Engagement Unit is looking for a self-motivated Java Fullstack Developer with strong attention to detail and excellent collaboration skills.  

Please note that this is a temporary position (Military Service Cover).

Job Description

Your influential mission. You will... 

• Work with a complex codebase that includes multiple Java versions and various architectural patterns. 
• Maintain and update legacy while preserving functionality. 
• Develop new features based on business requirements. 
• Write comprehensive tests for new and old functionality. 
• Debug and fix reported issues across the system. 
• Perform root cause analysis for critical bugs. 
• Monitor and optimize system performance. 
• Conduct code reviews and maintain code quality standards. 

Qualifications

Components for success. You... 

• Approximately 3 years of experience as a Fullstack Developer or several years of experience in Java development. 
• Have a strong background in Java development and front-end development using React with TypeScript. 
• Possess strong expertise in application performance optimization and database query optimization. 
• Are proficient in modern software design patterns and best practices to create scalable, maintainable, and high-performing applications. 
• Have experience with performance monitoring tools and profiling techniques. 
• Have experience in maintaining and modernizing legacy systems. 
• Are knowledgeable in Hibernate, JDBC, MariaDB, Kafka, Docker, Maven. 
• Understand GIT flow (pull requests, branches, etc.). 
• Are skilled with front-end tools and technologies: TypeScript, React, Redux, ES2020, HTML5, SCSS. 
• Have experience with MaterialUI, Webpack, Jest. 
• Excel in collaboration and teamwork, are self-motivated, and pay attention to detail.
