Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer (5–8 Years) to design, develop, and scale enterprise full-stack applications focused on Requirements Traceability, Engineering Analytics, and AI Integrations. In this role, you will build secure backend services, intuitive web dashboards, and AI-assisted automation pipelines that connect engineering artifacts across the software and systems development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Full-Stack Application Development: Architect and implement high-performance, responsive web applications using ReactJS and robust, scalable backend microservices using Java / Spring Boot.
• Traceability & Analytics Dashboards: Build interactive visual dashboards and reporting modules to track requirement-to-test matrices, engineering artifacts, and lifecycle metrics across complex systems.
• AI & Machine Learning Integrations: Integrate generative AI and LLM-assisted features (summarization, semantic search, automated requirement gap detection, and predictive traceability) into core engineering platforms.
• Process & Audit Logging: Build end-to-end process logging, system audit trails, and observability frameworks to monitor requirements modifications, execution status, and compliance workflows.
• REST APIs & Backend Microservices: Design, build, document, and maintain secure, stateless RESTful APIs and middleware to handle high-volume transactions and seamless system integrations.
• Data Management & Optimization: Design optimized relational data schemas and write complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and performance-tuned data retrieval routines.
• Collaboration & Standards: Partner closely with systems engineers, product leads, and QA teams to translate functional specifications into clean, modular, test-driven code.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Experience: 5 to 8 years of hands-on experience in full-stack software development.
• Core Languages: Strong proficiency in Java (8/11/17+) and modern JavaScript / TypeScript.
• Frameworks: Extensive experience building enterprise microservices using Spring Boot / Spring Framework and dynamic user interfaces using ReactJS.
• API & Integrations: Proven expertise in architecting and consuming secure RESTful APIs (JSON, OpenAPI/Swagger).
• Database & SQL: Deep working knowledge of relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle) and writing optimized SQL queries.
• Engineering Best Practices: Solid understanding of OOP principles, Design Patterns, CI/CD pipelines, Git, and automated testing (JUnit, Mockito, Jest).

Preferred Skills

• IBM ELM Ecosystem: Hands-on exposure to IBM Engineering Lifecycle Management tools (such as DOORS Next, ETM, EWM) or OSLC-based integrations.
• AI/LLM Application Layer: Experience integrating LLM APIs (OpenAI, Bedrock, or open-source models) via frameworks like LangChain, LlamaIndex, or Spring AI.
• Containerization & Deployment: Familiarity with Docker, container orchestration (Kubernetes), and cloud services (AWS or Azure).
• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related engineering field.
