As a Journeyperson Sprinkler Fitter, you are responsible for inspecting, maintaining, repairing, and testing fire sprinkler systems to ensure they are in compliance with safety regulations and operational standards. This role involves a combination of technical expertise, problem-solving, and customer service skills to ensure the proper functioning of fire protection systems.

Who You Are 

• You have a positive attitude and excellent communication skills 
• You are punctual, highly organized, and great attention to detail 
• You are analytical and a natural problem solver 
• You are diligent in writing reports and paperwork 

What You Bring 

• Sprinkler System Installer Journeyperson/Red Seal Designation 
• Certified in the applicable field (sprinkler systems and/or Cross Connection Control) 
• A valid driver’s license and a clean driver’s abstract is required to operate a company vehicle 

What You’ll Do 

• Conduct inspections on sprinkler and related systems 
• Repair systems and perform maintenance 
• Prepare reports for completed inspections, repairs or maintenance 
• Complete scheduled appointments and provide appropriate comments 
• Utilize scheduling software as directed by management 
• Complete timecard submissions 
• Maintain company vehicle 
• Represent Sterling Fire with clients 
• Communicate with dispatch and management 
• Attend service calls 
• Troubleshoot systems 
• Participate in on-call rotation
