About This Job

Our Jr. Banking Analyst Program provides recent college graduates exposure to various areas focusing on Compliance. This rotational program aims to develop well-rounded professionals equipped with the skills and knowledge necessary to excel and become top performers at Axos Bank. Upon successful completion of this program, analysts are eligible to promote into any area of the enterprise.

2026 Jr. Banking Analyst start dates are: October 5
2027 Jr. Banking Analyst start dates are: January 4, April 5, June 31, October 4

Responsibilities:

  • Anti-Money Laundering (AML): Assist in the identification and prevention of money laundering activities, including transaction monitoring, suspicious activity reporting, and customer due diligence.

  • Enterprise Risk Management (ERM): Support the identification, measurement, documentation, and mitigation of enterprise risks. Participate in model risk reviews and contribute to the development of risk management strategies.

  • Fair Lending: Contribute to the monitoring and analysis of lending practices to ensure compliance with fair lending laws and regulations. Assist in conducting risk assessments and preparing reports on potential discriminatory practices.

Due to the rotational nature of this program, responsibilities will vary. The duties listed above provide a general overview of what to expect. Some rotations may require overtime.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Law/Criminal Justice, Statistics, Data Science, Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field.

  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

  • Demonstrated interest in compliance and risk management within the financial services industry.
