Job Description:

The Junior Development and System Engineer is responsible for supporting the development, maintenance, and optimization of software systems. This role involves working closely with senior engineers and developers to ensure the efficient operation of IT infrastructure, contribute to software development projects, and assist in resolving technical issues.

Responsibilities:

1. Assist in the design, development, testing, and deployment of software applications.
2. Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code under the guidance of senior developers.
3. Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of development practices.
4. Support the maintenance, monitoring, and optimization of IT systems and infrastructure.
5. Assist in the setup, configuration, and management of servers, networks, and other system components.
6. Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
7. Provide technical support to internal users, helping to resolve software and hardware issues.
8. Document and track support requests, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
9. Work closely with senior engineers, developers, and other team members to complete project tasks.
10. Participate in team meetings, providing updates on tasks and contributing to discussions.
11. Create and maintain technical documentation for systems, applications, and processes.
12. Ensure all documentation is up-to-date and easily accessible.
13. Stay current with new technologies, tools, and industry trends.
14. Participate in training sessions, workshops, and other learning opportunities to enhance technical skills.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 1-2 yrs of Equivalent experience will be considered.
• Entry-level position; relevant internships or project experience in software development or system engineering is preferred.
• Basic understanding of software development principles and programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, C#).
• Familiarity with system administration tasks and tools.
• Knowledge of databases and SQL.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Salary Range: INR 3,00,000 - INR 6,00,000 per annum
