Primary responsibilities include daily research and support to a supervisory attorney, including maintaining and organizing the calendar, appealing property values, data entry, and preparing commercial property analyses. Candidates should be organized, motivated, self-starters, able to multitask, work well with others, have a strong work ethic, communicate with co-workers and clients by telephone, e-mail, and letter, and be professional in appearance and demeanor.  This is an in-office position with the hours of Monday through Friday, 9 am to 5 pm.


Duties may include but are not limited to:


  • Providing daily support to the supervisor
  • Heavy research
  • Department billing
  • Tracking appeal deadlines
  • Appealing property values, which includes gathering and entering property values and tax rates into the database
  • Preparing paperwork for appeal (i.e., form, cover letter, etc.)

Requirements:


  • Bachelor’s degree (Bachelor of Science or Business & Management preferred) - Candidates that do not currently hold a Bachelor's degree will not be considered for this position

Compensation


  • Starting Salary: 55,000

  • 120 hours of PTO after a 90-day probation period

  • Typically, 17 plus paid holidays
