What you'll do

  • Track contract actions, milestones, and reporting deadlines to support timely execution
  • Support the preparation, routing, and tracking of contract modifications and other related documents
  • Review and analysis of Requests For Proposals (RFPs)
  • Assist with invoice processing
  • As necessary, learn to review all types of government contract awards and prime contractor awards, including analyzing and evaluating terms and funding, reviewing for compliance with bid, negotiating provisions, and mitigating risk.
  • Support and perform external government personnel and teaming partners liaison activities
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to gather, verify, and organize contract-related information
  • Learn to support contracts and subcontracts reports and deliverable requirements to the customer when necessary
  • Assist with contract close-out activities, as required
  • Learn to monitor assigned subcontractor performance and funding; assist with the negotiation and coordination of subcontract modifications, and subcontract close-out activities, as required
  • Support and develop positive working relationships with contracting officers of the U.S. government, prime contractors, the DCMA and other related organizations
  • Assist with special projects, as assigned

ITA is seeking a Junior Contract Administrator to join the team supporting our Headquarters in Newport News, Virginia.

Responsibilities

The Junior Contract Administrator will play a key role in supporting a wide range of contracting activities. This includes involvement in proposal development, administration, and close-out processes to ensure maximization of business results and adherence to corporate policy and government regulations. 

 

Primary duties include but are not limited to:

Pay range for this position is $36,000 - $50,000 annually.

 

This position has a broad compensation range due to the complexities of government contracting, including contract pricing, labor category requirements, funding parameters, and varying levels of candidate experience and qualifications.
