About the Role
We are looking for a Junior Finance Executive to support our finance and accounting operations. The ideal candidate should have good knowledge of TDS, GST-related documentation, PF, ESI, payroll support, reconciliations, and statutory compliance.
The candidate will work closely with the Finance and HR teams to ensure accurate financial records, timely statutory filings, and smooth day-to-day finance operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and update day-to-day financial and accounting records.
- Assist with TDS calculation, deductions, reconciliation, and filing.
- Support GST-related accounting and documentation.
- Assist in PF and ESI calculations, compliance, and monthly submissions.
- Support payroll processing and salary-related calculations.
- Prepare and maintain finance-related reports, statements, and MIS.
- Perform bank, vendor, and ledger reconciliations.
- Verify invoices, bills, expense claims, and supporting documents.
- Track vendor payments, receivables, and outstanding amounts.
- Assist with monthly closing and financial reporting activities.
- Maintain proper documentation and records for audits.
- Coordinate with internal departments for finance-related requirements.
- Ensure accuracy and timely completion of assigned finance activities.
- Support the senior finance team in other accounting and statutory compliance activities.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in B.Com, M.Com, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in finance/accounts.
- Good working knowledge of TDS, PF, ESI, GST, and basic statutory compliance.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and accounting software/ERP.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of financial and employee information.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Professional Tax to the compliance experience
Preferred
Experience in education, school, or service-sector organizations will be an advantage.
Knowledge of Zoho Books / Tally / other accounting ERP systems is preferred.
