What you'll do
- Prototyping & Debugging: Assembling and thoroughly debugging hardware prototypes.
- PCB Design: Drafting, designing, and optimizing PCB layouts for new functional modules.
- Component Selection: Evaluating and selecting suitable electronic and electromechanical components (e.g., connectors, cables, and functional assemblies) based on high-level system requirements.
- Integration: Integrating modules into the overall system in close collaboration with Embedded Software Development Engineers.
- Testing & Documentation: Defining, coordinating, and documenting End-of-Line testing procedures to ensure product reliability and quality.

- A completed Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechatronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related field.
- Experience in prototyping hardware projects, including soldering, crimping, and 3D printing.
- Knowledge of PCB design and CAD layout tools.
- An independent, structured, and proactive approach to work.
- A strong, hands-on personality with a passion for building, measuring, and systematically troubleshooting real hardware.
Nice to have
- A relevant apprenticeship completed prior to or alongside your studies is a plus.
- Experience in embedded software development is a plus.
